Automated Damage Appraisal

Automated damage appraisal is the use of software to assess vehicle damage and produce or support an initial evaluation of repair needs, severity, or cost.

Why it matters in collision repair

It can shorten the time between first notice of loss and an initial claim decision, but visible-image analysis cannot reliably identify every structural, mechanical, or concealed condition.
